Following her time with Universal dance Association, she attended UNC where she became a member of the dance team. With her strong capabilities, she received a scholarship to attend Edge Performing Arts Center where she continued to enhance her own skills while helping others hone theirs while teaching at the Millennium dance complex. Dancing her way through film and commercials in Hollywood, she discovered Pilates by her mom suggesting she check it out. The performing arts of physical therapy . Shannon saw her true self emerge in this new form of exercise. The combination of movement, centering the mind, body and spirit felt like her true calling. Her new passion was learning, physiology, biology, anatomy, and anything that had to do with people truly connecting with themselves. Once she mastered Pilates, the body and the mind, she opened her studio in 2011 to bring her passion and knowledge to others.
